Child Burglarism in UK

According to the new research on burglarism in the UK, third of all burglaries in UK and Wales are committed by children .It means 32% of the burglary. Children are the most and the worst effected victims of burglary. Nottinghamshire, Greater Manchester and the Metropolitan Police had the highest child burglary rate.

Nottinghamshire had the highest rate of minors at 43 per cent, 41% in Greater Manchester and London had 37 per cent. Of the 291,567 burglaries where a criminal was caught, 95,872 - or 32 per cent - were aged under 18. 'It's supposed that the young people committing these crimes are damagingly affecting their peers the most.
People in between the age group of 10 -16 years old are much more likely to be the victim of a crime than at any other time in their life.'
